Grateful DeAD 1973 IN Des Moines at Fairgrounds
Yes, recording somewhat flat , but great to remember. The day became cloudy , but sun broke out just when singing .....sunshine !

get the other version
the first 3 discs sound like they've been noise reduced. Unfortunately this makes for a muffled sound that is inferior to the other copy of this show. It's probably a matter of opinion, since the opther copy is plagued by a hissy cassette generation. Take your pick -- hissy and dynamic (other copy) or not hissy and flat (this copy).
Oh well, anyway this is a typically great 73 show. Beautiful renditions of the whole set list, and killer jams including a very psychedelic Other One with a nice transition into Eyes. I was psyched to discover that several seconds into He's Gone, the sound noticeably improves for the rest of the show! So, there's a little love for us jam-lovers! IMO, listen to the other copy because the whole thing sounds better over there.
Gotta love the GOGD
